Hi guys, I am a designer for my company, and I am creating a master theme for over 40 people to use. But we have these new angled slits that are placeholder images. Now I know one can replace the image via the format panel and untick 'rotate with shape' but has nothing to do with the image/shape placeholder. It just overrides it and pretty much defeats the placeholders purpose.

Is there a way to keep the image at 0 degrees with the image placeholder angle at 26 degrees? This way my non-design savvy team can click on insert image and casually crop/resize their image without having to go through the format panel.
Thanks in advance, hope this makes sense! I'm not sure if this will do it for but it'll get you closer, I suspect: Instead of leaving your picture placeholders on the masters/layouts blank/unfilled, fill them with a picture (it could be any sort of dummy photo, a texture, or even an image that's completely blank white, just so it's an image of some sort). Once you do that, the option to 'Rotate with shape' appears; it's checked by default, so uncheck it. Now when your users add a slide based on that layout and click the placeholder to insert a picture, it'll inherit the settings from your master/layout placeholder.
